Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to read this. Life can really suck and I want nothing more than to encourage and help you on your journey. I don’t know you, your background or what your gowing through…BUT I do know if you REFUSE to give up…YOU WILL OVERCOME. Keepyourcrown.family.blog is made just for you! Too many times in life we are faced with tragic situations that cause us to loose sight of who we are and the POWER available to us. We trade in our “crowns” by simply believing a lie that we are not enough. To ugly, too fat,too poor, too stupid. We forfeit our crowns in abusive relationships, through addiction, self doubt and chasing things that won’t satisfy. We surrender our positions of authority and stature to settle for a life of defeat, and submission to fear. Your Crown is a literal crown placed on your head by God our Father. Your Crown represents your royal stature of authority, power and position. Your Crown can be traded by a number of things. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide wether you keep your crown,or give it away. This blog is to help and empower you! To keep your crown clean, polished and shining like new. To be placed on your head held high, setting an example and ready to be an example to the younger generation. This blog is brand new and I hope you get out of this anything to help strengthen and enhance your life. I love you! God loves you! And the BEST IS YET TO COME!

I am a 38 year old mother of 5 beautiful children. I am engaged to my best friend and man of my dreams, David Reilly. After being widowed in 2016, I experienced a horrible betrayal in my family. I then experienced homelessness, serious depression, parental alienation, drug addiction and everything that comes with experiencing being widowed at a young age. I want to share my story about my journey to sobriety. Life without drugs, making it out of "the trap". I truly believe many of us have been touched by drugs, homelessness, family betrayal, child protective services and being a widow. After 3 years of isolation, betrayal, homelessness, drugs, strip clubs, posting on websites, prostitution and chaos, I was able to turn my life around and come out on top, better than ever. I have been on the road to recovery since May 9th. 2019. I am restoring the relationships with my older children. I am consistently taking ground in the reunification with my one year old in an open case with DCFS, Dane County Madison WI. I am growing in my relationship with my best friend David Reilly who is also a recovered addict, clean and sober one year. I want to share with other women, moms, parents, peers and addicts how I got clean. How I got my life together and what life is like now balancing faith, sobriety, a career, a home, a relationship,an open CPS case and of course...life now with Covid-19. I hope this blog brings encouragement and hope to you in your situation. You are not alone and God cares very much for you.
